Our construction and project team has experience of advising on EPC contracts for construction of power and energy projects developed by Vietnam based developers (with particular expertise on offshore construction work). We also assist clients in dealing with structuring, legal and regulatory issues during the early stages of project development or transaction.

- Advised a consortium of U.S energy companies on development of a number LNG-to-power projects/LNG terminal projects in Vietnam (advising a wide range of matters, including structuring issues relating to both investment structures and financing structures, licensing process, land acquisition, service procurement, PPA documentation etc)
- Advised a leading Japanese energy company on the development of an LNG-to-power project in Vietnam
- Advised a leading Vietnam based energy company on Vietnamese law and tax aspects of a gas purchase agreement with an international energy company
